Australia NCRIS Capability Issue paper

The Australian Government Funded National Research Infrastructure Capability (NCRIS) Issues Paper has been released recently.  The paper and the commensurate review process, encompasses the NCRIS program which is the major source of funding for TERN. The release of this paper has started the consultation process to support the development of the 2016 roadmap, which will outline the next 10 years of research infrastructure investment in Australia.

The Issues Paper has indicated a strong desire from the Government for the NCRIS capabilities to engage with international research infrastructure activities. In TERN we recognise the wealth of knowledge in the global terrestrial ecosystem science community and would appreciate your comments and feedback into this roadmap process. Submissions that specifically indicate how terrestrial ecosystem science infrastructure investment in Australia could best facilitate and link with like infrastructure overseas to address global challenges would be particularly welcome.

The submission should be made to RoadmapSubmissions@education.gov.au in the template provided by Friday 9th of September 2016.

Please feel to contact us if you need any further information.
