There are several options to access and export data from the TDDP, depending on what data is desired. These include:

Exporting Search Results

Once users have found desired records via the search page, a list of these records can be exported as a CSV, using the Export Results button next underneath the map.

When the “Export Results” button is selected, the following pop up will appear, allowing users to select/deselect fields to download. Once users have chosen the fields to download, clicking the “Export” button will download the search results data as a CSV. Users can then access this either via their browser or their devices Downloads folders (depending on their individual device settings).

Exporting Record Metadata

Users can choose to export metadata of individual records in formats compatible with various referencing software. This can be done from the record metadata page, with available export formats including BibTex and EndNote.

Users can also export the record metadata to DCAT format from this page, to facilitate the integration of the record metadata with that of other datasets or collections.

This data may be in a variety of formats, most commonly CSV, JSON. Note that for some records, these links may redirect users to other applications which hold the data, such as TERN’s EcoPlots,

Accessing Data via the TDDP API

To access data via the TDDP API, use the Resources menu at the top of the screen (next to the Search or My Results menus) and select “TDDP API”. This will redirect to the Swagger API page, from which queries can be built.
