Goals
- The goal of the project is to develop, deliver and manage scalable virtual desktop environment accessible via a web browser as part of EcoCloud compute platform,
- The virtual desktop should have access to data platform and shared storage infrastructure for seamless access to different storage capabilities,
- Enable computational researchers to share their data and analysis pipeline with others,
- Interoperate with other compute platforms like RStudio and Jupyter notebook environment.

New Features:
- Added upload/download function from host to virtual desktop.
- Added Git repository extension to Jupyterlab application.
- RGEOS is reverted to a more stable version (Version 0.3_28)
- Link to EcoCloud platform functionality from Notebook section.

Email communication sent on 06th Nov 2018 before and after the system maintenance completed.
Changes made:
There are changes to the way Google sign in works, Google API is updated.
