The File Transfer function within CoESRA allows the easy movement of data between a user’s local computer and the CoESRA virtual desktop.

  1. From within the CoESRA virtual desktop, select the File Transfer tab on the far right of the sceenwhich will open a new panel on the left of the screen.

Select ‘Devices’ to display the upload files option, then choose the folder in which to save the uploaded files. Click the ‘Upload Files’ button to upload your files from the local machine to your virtual desktop. When you have finished uploading files, click ‘Close File Transfer’ to close.

Please be aware that FileTransfer may be a more time consuming option than if you already have your data stored in the cloud (ie. in Dropbox) and only need to download it into your CoESRA desktop.

The File Transfer function also allows small amounts of text data to be copied and pasted between the two environments.
