Viewing and Updating Personal Information
Viewing Personal Information
To view personal information, users should select “View my profile” from the menu on the left of the page.
This will show users the details with which they registered their TERN account.
Updating Personal Information
To update personal information, users should select “Update my profile” from the menu on the left of the page. They will then be redirected to authenticate, before being directed to the following screen to update their details. Note this form is the same form used for registration of an account.
On saving of changes, users will be redirected back to the “View my profile” page.
Note that the below form will be pre-filled with the user's existing saved details. Organisation, Field of Research and Type of Activity are mandatory fields. Users will not be able to save or cancel changes if these fields are empty.
A maximum of three (3) Field of Research options can be selected.
Users cannot change their Email, Given name or Family name (grey fields) from within TERN Accounts. This is because these details are pre-filled by the identity provider used for account registration/log in.
To change these, users must update their details with their identity provider.
