Reporting Images Requiring Review
If users notice an image which has an issue they can choose to report it. Reasons for reporting images may include:
issues with image quality (e.g. the image is blurry or too light/dark to see anything meaningful),
the metadata associated with the image contains incorrect information,
the image provider no longer wishes for the image to be available.
To report an image, click on it to enlarge it and select “Report Data Issue”.
Note that users must be signed in to EcoImages to report issues with images. Users will be redirected to the log in page if they are not signed in.
For information on how to log in or register an account, please refer to Creating Accounts and Signing-In to TERN Data Applications and Services.
Enter a short statement identifying the issue with the image or metadata and submit the form. Please be specific about the issue when reporting an image.
On submission of the form, users will get the following confirmation message.
Please note that submitting a report on an image will trigger a review of the image. Outcomes of this review may include a removal of the image from EcoImages or, if errors are identified, a correction of the image metadata.
