Searching EcoImages Using Filters
On the search page, users can search for data using the various filters.
These filters include options to refine images by:
Search: search by keyword
Regions: contains a filter for Region Types (e.g. State and Territory, WWF Ecoregion) and a sub-filter for Region.
Date Range: records collected within the date range specified by the user
Sites, Plots and Site Visits: contains a list of Sites, with sub-filters for individual Plots within the Site(s) selected and Site Visit Ids for dates the Site was visited and images collected.
Image and Camera Types: contains multiple sub-filters depending on the Image Type selected by the user. All image types will include a sub-filter for Camera Types, which allows the user to filter by the model of the camera used to capture the image. Image Types include:
Flora,
Fauna,
Fungi,
General,
Camera Trap,
Leaf Area Index (LAI) - with additional sub-filters for Camera Angle and Method,
Panorama - with additional sub-filters for Position and Method,
Phenocam - with additional sub-filters for Phenocam Subtypes, NVIS Major Vegetation Group, Position, Camera Angle and Phenocam FOV (Field of View), as well as options relating to the visibility and download of Chromatic Coordinates.
Photopoint - with additional sub-filters for Position and Method.
If desired, users can refine results using multiple filters. For filters using a drop down selection or text input, users can also add more than one option to refine by.
To see all filters applied, click the “expand” button in the Current Search section of the screen.
To remove a filter without clearing the whole search, expand the Current Search section and remove the desired filter by selecting the “Clear” button against that filter.
To clear the entire search, use the “Clear Search” button.
