Submitting an EOI and Downloading EOI Content
Submitting an EOI
Once users have finished filling in the EOI form and are happy with the content, they can use the “Submit” button to submit the form.
This will generate a pop up of the completed form for the user to review. The user then has the option to either go back and further edit the form or to confirm submission.
On submission of the form, the EcoPlots data packager is triggered. This compiles a pdf version of the submitted EOI form as well as sample metadata for each of the samples requested into a zipped file which is sent to the TERN Adelaide team for review. At this point users will also see a status of “Submitted” against their request in their My Samples Request page.
Once the EOI is reviewed, the TERN Adelaide team will contact the user directly for next steps. Users should note that the review time for EOIs may be a few weeks, depending on the volume and nature of requests received.
Users will also see a Packaging Status of either “Initialising” or “Preparing for Download”, whilst the data packager compiles the files for download.
If users no longer wish to proceed with a EOI submission, or wish to edit or withdraw it, they should contact the TERN Adelaide team.
Please note that eSupport can assist with queries and can also forward the request to the TERN Adelaide team.
Downloading EOI Content
Once the package is “Ready for Download” the user will receive an email confirmation of their request submission. Please allow an hour or so for the email confirmation of submission to be received.
To download, users can click the symbol in the “Download” column. This will download the zipped file containing a PDF of the EOI and CSV(s) of samples. Each sample type requested in an EOI will have a separate CSV file containing the sample metadata.
Also included in the download are citation files in both Bib and RIS formats and the metadata in JSON format.
