Goals of the Product

• The goal of SHaRED is to capture consistent metadata for all the datasets published by TERN

Release Details

New Features

• Metadata is compliant with ISO 19115-3

• Add additional questions to capture Data quality methods and results.

• The ability for users to see the ISO 19115-3 compliant metadata file

• Options to use controlled vocabularies to add GCMD Science Keywords, ANZSRC FoR, Sampling Frequency, Platforms, Instruments, Observed Properties, UoM and methods.

• Add multiple bounding box to describe where data was collected

• Ability to add vertical coverage to capture depth and altitude

• Ability to add additional publications and resources associated with the data

• capture lineage information

• Upload files up to 100 MB.

• Link data from web services such as WMS, WCS, WFS, OpenDAP

• Authenticate using Google ID

• Dynamic update of Vocabularies from vocabulary source

• The data submission deed is integrated into the submission tool
