Background

This document lists the changes/updates in the mapping methods vocabs from the 18 DCCEEW modules from previous release (July 2022) to the latest DCCEEW protocols release (July 2023) available on the page (https://www.tern.org.au/emsa-protocols-manual ). A summary table below provides details of major changes that needs to be mapped and the status of the changes for version control.

  1. Basal Area Module

a. Standard DBH protocol (new label)

  1. Generally, all the modules do not seem to have any field app design that were presented in previous drafts. This needs to be removed from our protocol mapping figures.

  2. References for all the attributes, and observable properties containing the old modules should be updated to the latest July 2023 version.

  3. Sub-protocol labels need to be updated

  4. Plot dimension need to be updated

  5. Protocol steps need to be updated

  6. Figures and appendix needs updating

  2. Fractional cover details are to be captured in vocabs; Ask Sally to update the spelling of “…
