ANSWER | from Dale Richter (DES):The SPS field is the Stem Plot Size. Size in square meters over which a stem count is performed. We have had problems with the values in this field in the past especially for the historical records. We have made some efforts to verify and correct these values but there is still more work to do. This field is required if you want to do any stem density calculations. To verify and correct these records is not an easy task unfortunately. |
